2026 Kindness Week

2026 Food Drive

We’re entering week two of our annual food drive. Week one started off great, and the students really brought their A-game. Let’s finish week two strong and see which grade will earn the most points!

Save the Date

Save the date for the Kamiak Choral Festival on Thursday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. Mukilteo Elementary choir students will join fellow elementary, middle, and high school choir students for an evening filled with wonderful performances.

Multicultural Night is March 26

This year's Multicultural Night is on Thursday, March 26, from 6-8 p.m. in the ME Gym. Families can volunteer to host a table or share a short performance representing a country or culture.

Table hosts often display a flag, share a traditional food item, facilitate a cultural craft, play a game, and/or display artifacts. Performances can include a dance, song, demonstration, or other artistic expression.

Girls On The Run

Girls on the Run is coming back to Mukilteo Elementary this spring! It’s so much more than a run club, it’s a program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident.

Twice per week for eight weeks, participants will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels and learn important life skills. Trained and caring coaches lead teams through interactive lessons and movement activities.

The Mukilteo Elementary team will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 - 5:00 PM. The season ends with a celebratory 5K event for all Snohomish County teams.

Winter Reading Olympics

We hope all our students will "Go for the Gold" with this reading challenge. To complete this reading challenge, choose different books to read that match the events listed. Be sure to write the title of the book you read and the date completed. Turn it into Mrs. Morse or Mrs. Edwards when you're done.
 

2025-2026 School Yearbooks

School yearbooks are on sale now through March 31, 2026.

To order school yearbooks:
  • Click here to order.
  • Parents can order for more than one student on the same order.
  • You will receive an email confirmation of your order.
  • Yearbooks will be delivered to school in June.

How to participate:
  1. Pick a book listed, read it, and ENJOY!
  2. Fill out the Sasquatch ticket from the library and have a book talk with Mrs. Edwards or Mrs. Morse.
  3. Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. Morse will keep track of your progress in the library.
Prizes:
  • 1 Book: For each book you read, you earn a chance to win a stuffed animal Sasquatch!
  • 3+ Books: Backpack charm with a bead for every book you've read.
  • 12 Books: Unlimited check out from our library and your name posted in the library on our "Sasquatch Reading Challenge Finishers" wall.

The OTTER Award - Our Time To Enjoy Reading - is sponsored by the Washington Library Association: School Libraries Division. Established in 2015, the committee is pleased to announce the 2025-2026 nominated titles:

  3. Turn your OTTER ticket into Mrs. Edwards or Mrs. Morse.

  • 1 Book: For each book you read, your name gets entered in a drawing to win a stuffed animal otter in June
  • 3+ Books: Backpack charm with beads representing each book you've read
  • 6+ Books: Your name hung up in our library on our "OTTER Finishers" wall
