The OTTER Reading Challenge is currently offered to 3^rd graders, and later on this school year will be open to all students. Each year, 6 new OTTER books are selected by Washington State teachers and librarians.  These books contain LOTS of pictures and LOTS of words too, which is often the perfect balance for 3^rd graders.  3^rd graders are welcome to read these books to themselves, listen to an audiobook, or listen to an adult read them. These books are engaging and fun!
