Meet the Counselor

Ms. Christina Barzare

Ms. Christina Barzare

Hello M.E. community!

I’m thrilled to be your school counselor at ME Elementary! As a proud former student of the Mukilteo School District, it’s truly special for me to now work in the community where I grew up. Since 2017, I’ve had the privilege of supporting students and families here at M.E. and it continues to be an incredibly rewarding journey.

Before becoming a school counselor, I spent several years working as an advocate for children with disabilities and developmental delays. That experience helped build a strong foundation for the work I do now, supporting students socially, emotionally, and academically so they can grow into confident and capable individuals.

When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my two daughters getting creative with fun art projects. Or out enjoying a sunny day on the golf course. I also enjoy curling up with a good book and snuggling with my sweet cat, Sophia.

Please know that my door is always open, whether a student needs someone to talk to, a parent has a concern, or a staff member wants to collaborate. I’m here to listen, support, and help make each student’s elementary school experience the best it can be.

Looking forward to a wonderful year together!

Warmly,
Ms. Christina
