Back-to-School Fair volunteers

The annual Back-to-School Fair will be Friday, Aug. 22, 4-6:30 p.m. at Mariner High School. It's open to all grades and families in Mukilteo School District.

In addition to the free school supplies, student activities and community partner tables, we're adding three school bus shuttles to help families travel to and from the fair.

This is a huge event and its success depends on help from staff and families. If you have an hour or two to share during the event or in the days leading up to the event, please consider volunteering. You can indicate your availability and preferences for tasks on this Google form. Thank you!

Congratulations, graduates!

Mukilteo School District Class of 2025, along with their family and friends, celebrated graduation last week! More than 900 diplomas were handed out to Kamiak and Mariner high school seniors at Angel of the Winds Arena on June 13. ACES/Big Picture High School honored 30 graduates during its commencement held June 12, at Rosehill Community Center, and nine Community Based Transition Center (CBTC) students were celebrated at a special event held at Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center on June 11.

Caps off to all our graduates! We are proud of you and wish you the very best in your future endeavors.

It recognizes the date, June 19, 1865, when the Union army rode into Galveston Bay, TX, to reinforce the Emancipation Proclamation, marking the official end of slavery in the United States.
