Thank you to Jake Miller, his fellow scouts, and Ann & Rob McManis for a major clean-up and restoration of ME’s garden space this last weekend. As part of his Eagle Scout project, Jake Miller offered to help clean up the garden, lay down a fresh bed of wood chips on resued coffee bags (used to suppress further weed growth), and extended the footprint of the garden eastward past the two concrete planters. Jake’s project marks the fifth major scout project in our garden.
